  • Overview

    Under general supervision, administer and maintain desktop application platforms and hardware as well as deliver technology support services to users of company-wide computer systems with a focus on outstanding customer service.



    Responsible for recognizing, researching, isolating, and resolving requests effectively and efficiently. The individual will be required to work with other lead personnel, internal and external, in the coordination, upgrading, and maintenance of the server infrastructure. Responsible for drafting, updating, and revising Key Processes and in relation to documentation standardization.

    Perform administrative tasks on all company computing devices to include, but not limited to:

    • Install, configure, monitor and tune desktop hardware, operating systems and applications
    • Intermediate troubleshooting of reported issues; control, manage, track, document and record all reported issues into the help desk ticketing software
    • Preventative maintenance for all company computing devices on a scheduled basis, system software maintenance, system security, product hardware and software upgrades
    • Performs virus detection to maintain and secure processing environment


    Must have a minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of technical experience in applying the knowledge/skill requirements listed below in a similar systems environment;  Associates Degree preferred in Computer Science and/or Information Systems.  Technical knowledge in the following areas is required: 


    Secure build or imaging of computing devices utilizing third party imaging software and system preparation tool (sysprep.exe), virtualization, TCP/IP, and antivirus/malware prevention/removal solutions.  Working knowledge in analyzing and troubleshooting is preferred, and should include the following:

    • Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server 2013, Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and Powershell. 
    • Ability to assimilate information and clearly communicate with users, management staff and outside vendor resources. 
    • High organized, deadline, and detail orientated in relation to execution of tasks with/without supervision.
    • Provide knowledge transfers to other staff members.
    • Must be able to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
    • Must be available to provide systems support coverage on evenings and weekends on a rotational schedule.
