Provides administrative and clerical support to the Customer Service team. Highly organizational, deadline and detail orientation required. Accuracy required to process SSA forms. Responsible for a wide range of job duties from talking with customers on the telephone to printing, copying, typing, and filing.


  1. Performs vital data entry into the Case Management system as case progresses through the disability process. Documents thoroughly and accurately the Notes database with any information related to the claim. When necessary, sets the appropriate task for the disability claim.
  2. Prints and submits the disability forms to be forwarded to the claimants, Social Security, and Disability Determination Services. Selects and prepares the correct letters to be forwarded with these forms. Reviews the disability forms for any discrepancies, unanswered questions, and incomplete information. Ensures our claimant’s disability file is well documented with the necessary copies of forms, letters, etc.
  3. Prepares all outgoing packages for mailing and selects the correct mailing method for all these packages.
  4. Adheres to all deadlines for the disability claim (especially the 60-day appeal deadlines).
  5. Completes timely calls to claimants for all outstanding disability forms. These should be made with empathy, courtesy, and professionalism. These calls should be documented thoroughly in Notes and the next task set timely.
  6. Utilize the task system. Take appropriate actions on tasks and ensure that the next task sets correctly.
  7. Serves as back-up to Claims Specialist when needed. Potential functions include completing intakes through the Empower software, monitoring claimant progress when completing empower questionnaires, assisting the claimant with activating an Allsup Place account, etc.
  8. Maintains strict confidentiality of claimant information, procedural manuals, client/prospect lists, information on new business ventures, and other confidential Allsup information.


Bachelor’s degree preferred, or associate’s degree with 6 months general office experience or appropriate Allsup experience.
