Overview

The Associate Analyst will build, test, and maintain content for the empower by Allsup program. The analyst will perform regression and quality assurance testing for releases of new tools and resolutions. Participate in design sessions and implementation of new processes involving empower. Apply analytical skills in solving problems and brainstorming new ideas. This position also supports the empower Help Desk in triaging, escalating, and resolving reported issues.

Responsibilities

  • As part of the project team, build and maintain empower questionnaires and associated output using several different internal manager programs.
  • Complete thorough testing of empower questionnaires and output to identify errors and implement resolutions.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail and endeavor to produce accurate work that is free of errors. Work on empower impacts both internal employee and external claimant experiences and therefore needs a high level of accuracy when completing updates.
  • Assist in testing new features and releases delivered by IT. Periodically participate in deployments outside of normal business hours.
  • Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively relay technical issues.
  • Assist with creation of new designs and review of proposed content changes.
  • Suggest new continuous improvement (CI) ideas. Work on CI projects along side different teams to effectively implement those ideas.
  • Serve as a technical expert on the capabilities of empower and how it can be integrated into new processes. Gain insight regarding the workflow of other departments within Allsup so empower tools can be adapted for best efficiency in each area of new empower growth.
  • Self-motivate to work through assigned tasks and projects independently.
  • Able to meet project goals and deadlines.
  • Flexible to adapt to re-alignment of priority work as projects shift focus.
  • Assist the empower Help Desk in reviewing issues and questions, resolving when possible, and escalating through appropriate paths when necessary. Possess strong analytical skills for problem solving.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of new business ventures, new Allsup IT developments, and other confidential Allsup information.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree desired, preferably in a technical or analytical field, or associate's degree with 6 months technical or project experience, or appropriate Allsup experience. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required.  Strong attention to detail required. Knowledge of HTML is a plus.
